ARTICLE XI:

 

General Provisions

 

SECTION A.

 

COMPENSATION FOR PRESIDENT

 

The President shall receive a stipend from the organization. The stipend amount shall be one hundred dollars per month. No salary or other gratuity shall be paid to any other officer of the organization. Any agreed upon expense incurred by an officer for the benefit of the organization shall be paid by the organization.

 

SECTION B.

 

INCIDENTAL EXPENDITURES The President of the Organization has the authority to spend up to $200.00 per month for Organizational expenses. Such expenses shall be verified by receipt, which shall be forwarded to the Treasurer.

 

SECTION C.

 

REQUEST TO EXCEED SPENDING LIMIT Should the President find it necessary to exceed the established amount, he/she shall go before the Board of Directors and present a valid reason for the need for additional expenditures. After consultation, the Board will render their decision.

 

SECTION D. FISCAL YEAR The fiscal year of this Organization shall begin on July 1, and end the succeeding year on June 30th .

 

SECTION E. PARLIAMENTARY AUTHORITY In matters where there is a dispute as to parliamentary authority, Robert’s Rule of Order, (latest edition), shall prevail, unless by a 2/3 vote or the membership, a quorum being present, the members rule otherwise.
